Domenico Felice was born in Campobasso on March 10, 1983 and spent most of his life in Cercemaggiore, a small mountain village. In summer 2004 he discovered his passion for pizza thanks to his cousin and teacher Mario Felice. Unlike other pizza chefs, he learned the art of a good pizza working in village festivals and celebrations, not in a pizzeria.
After only three months he started working in a pizzeria experiencing various problems which he later solved on his own, studying. Five years after the birth of his passion, after working in different pizzerias and having gained different experiences, he decided to move to Florence to offer a good product to more people than he could reach in a small village. Arrived in Florence in February 2010, he began his experience in a pizzeria increasing the amount of clients of the latter.
He improved his knowledge there, but after two months he chose to change his workplace. He decided to help a friend to open a Neapolitan pizzeria in the center of Florence.
Launched the pizzeria he found himself in the middle of filming of an American reality show where he gained both working and television experiences. In November 2012 he decided to join the APP (Professional Pizza Chefs Association) in order to increase his knowledge in the pizza field.
Carried out a course regarding the processing of different types of flour, including organic ones, he became a certified instructor and started leading professional courses for beginning pizza chefs. Thanks to the knowledge of various flour processing techniques, he began to create alternative pizza doughs at The Club House.
After finishing his working relationship with The Club House, he started to cooperate with the restaurant and pizzeria Undici Leoni, with which he continues to collaborate with great enthusiasm and passion.
Thanks to the Undici Leoni, from 23 to 26 March 2015 he took part in the International Pizza Challenge in Las Vegas, obtaining an excellent result.
